Alf Watch Company Norrsken

Swedish watch brand Alf Watch Company has launched an online crowd funding campaign to fund the mass production of their debut watch collection, Norrsken.

The major aesthetic highlight of the watch is its unique rounded square case which is crafted from 316L stainless steel and measures 40mm diameter and 11.6mm thickness. Lug width is 22mm and crown measures 7.5mm diameter.

On front side the watch is protected with AR coated sapphire crystal glass and rear side of the case has screwed stainless steel case back engraved with brand name and model details. Medium size of this classic dress watch ensures comfortable wearing. The watch has a water resistance of 50 meters.

The watch boasts a simple, highly readable dial featuring a two-layered design with cut out indices. Available in black, blue or white, the dial features centrally placed hour & minutes hands. The small second counter is inspired by the shape of watch case.

There are three colour combinations. The Steel/White model comes in a polished steel case with a white sandwich dial. The Steel/Blue model has a matte steel finished case with dark blue sandwich dial.

The Black/Black model features a Semi-matte DLC plated steel case and black dial. Both the Steel/Blue and Black/Black models have Superluminova BG W9 lume applied to the indices and hands, where as the Steel/White has lume applied only on the hands due to the black indices. The watch is powered by an automatic Miyota Cal.8245 movement manufactured in Japan. It is a 21 jewels self-winding movement with 42 hours power reserve.

Launched the Kickstarter campaign on 30 Jun 2018, the brand reached its pledged amount within 24 hours. The campaign will be closed on 25 Jul 2018 and the customers can pre-order the timepiece by backing the project with pledge level with early bird price starting from SEK 2,599 (299USD/249EUR).
