Presented this year, ANTON is the second rectangular model and first flying tourbillon watch from the German premium mechanical watch atelier LANG & HEYNE. Just like the other watch collections that are named after some of the eminent rulers of Saxony from 1123 to 1904, the ANTON tourbillon watch pays tribute to Anthony the Kind King of Saxony (1755 -1836).
Crafted from 18 carat rose gold or platinum, the rectangular case measures 40mm x 32mm and has 9.4mm thickness. The white, grand-feu enamel dial features art deco numerals and blue steel or rose gold lancet hands.
The watch houses Calibre IX, a brand new in-house mechanical hand-wound flying tourbillon movement with 55 hours of power reserve.
Driven by this exceptional movement, the watch displays hours & minutes indication with central hands and seconds via lyra-shaped cage.
Measuring 14¼ lines (33mm) diameter and 5.5 mm height, the movement beats at 18,000 semi-oscillations per hour (2.5Hz) and incorporates 17 rubies and 2 brilliant cut diamonds.
Fitted with sapphire crystal front glass and case back, the ANTON flying tourbillon watch is water resistant up to 30 meters. The watch comes fitted with an alligator leather strap with shark leather lining and Pin buckle or folding clasp.
