Micro-watch brand Bovarro has launched an online crowd funding campaign for the promotion of their latest Swiss made watch collection, Mare Rimor. As the name suggests (Mare Rimor means Sea Explorer in Latin), the watch takes inspiration from the nautical world.
Available in 42mm and 46mm versions, the solid stainless steel case of the watch features brushed finish and comes fitted with scratch resistant AR coated sapphire crystal front glass and sealed, screwed-down crown. Water resistance of the watch is 100 meters. The Mare Rimor watch is also available with IPS and PVS rose gold finishing.
Each timepiece from the Mare Rimor collection houses a STP1-11 Swiss Made Automatic movement manufactured by Swiss Tech Production, Switzerland. Bearing 26 jewels and beating at 28800 vibrations per hour, this self-winding movement can deliver power reserve up to 44 hours. Equipped with Incabloc shock absorber, Nivaflex NM Barrel spring and stop second device, the movement displays time in centre three hands layout. The luminous treated hour, minute and second hands enhance legibility during dark conditions. The date indication at 12ó clock is equipped with a rapid corrector.
The wave pattern on the dial indicates the nautical inspiration of the watch. The dial is available in Deep Blue Ocean, White Sandy Shore, Black Sea, Black Sea with Golden Sand and Chocolate versions. Further, the brand has divided the collection into a limited edition series with sapphire crystal case back and non-limited series with stainless steel case back.
Made for men who love ocean adventures, the watch comes fitted with an Italian made leather strap featuring a stainless steel pin buckle. The customers can also order for an additional brushed 316L Stainless Steel Bracelet.
The Bovarro Mare Rimor Kickstarter campaign is active now and it will be closed on 13 Jul 2018. During the campaign customers can pre-order the watch at discounted price range by backing the project. Pledge levels start from $498.
