With this ultra-limited series Petite Heure Minute Lion watch collection from Ateliers d’Art line, artisans and watchmakers at Jaquet Droz pay tribute to the king of animals.

The miniature painting on the Black Grand Feu enamel dial renders the singular spirit and fine detail of the lion’s expression. His gaze and fur are intricately hand painted by the artists of Jaquet Droz Ateliers d’Art. Each of the 28 pieces is hand-crafted, with slight variations making each piece one-of-a-kind.

The watch comes dressed in a red gold case measuring 43mm diameter. Every timepiece is supplied with an Ateliers d’Art certificate. Here the individual craftsmen who worked on each of the 28 models describe the artisan techniques used to produce the piece.

The self-winding movement beating inside the watch can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback.
