KAROSHI K-011/OS-01 Limited Edition

KAROSHI is a luxury watch brand founded by Swiss designer Stéphane Lacroix-Gachet, known for his exceptional works for brands like Hamilton, DeWitt and Rado.

KAROSHI K-011/OS-01, the first creation from the brand, was born from an innovative idea: To make a mechanical timepiece without a shell (case). Instead of a regular watch case, this wristwatch features a UNIBODY BASEPLATE made of grade 5 titanium. The movement is fixed on this base-plate, whose both sides are secured with sapphire crystals.

The self-winding mechanical movement (CALIBRE 0S-01) features a 60 second 2.5 Hz Tourbillon regulator, which is large enough to fit in a 48mm diameter baseplate. With a 14 mm balance wheel, a cage diameter of 19 mm, the magnificent Tourbillon mechanism is visible at 6 o’ clock.

The stepped- and constant-wheel are placed on top of each other. They catch up to each other every second. The sequential trigger work together for an accurate true second dance. For increased winding efficiency, the movement has a Pellaton winding system, driven by a platinum skeletonized micro rotor.
