This year, Schofield Watch Company presents a new version of their in-house Daymark model that was introduced in 2017. The ceramic coating on its Vapour-blasted stainless steel case provides this new watch its dark appearance.

The robust, matte black case of the new watch retains the one piece construction of the original Daymark model. The ceramic coating gives a smooth finish and also protects the watch case from scratches and corrosion. The case has a slight radius on the outer edge of the bezel and features a new nail rebate for pulling out the crown, which has a groove for your nails to grip to pull out.

Measuring 44mm diameter, the watch case houses the popular ETA 2824 automatic movement. Front glass is made with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass. Rear side of the watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal case back that offers the view of self-winding movement. The watch is water resistant to 200 meters.

Coming to the dial side, the raised chapter ring features hour marker dots filled with Super-LumiNova C3 and dotted minute markers, in which, 9 markers (6ó clock hour dot and 8 minute dots between 5ó clock and 7ó clock) are replaced by the brand name ‘SCHOFIELD’. Middle dial ring features 12 luminous hour markers.

All the hour, minute and second hands are centrally positioned. Hour and minute hands are in baton style and filled with Super-LumiNova C3. The second hand tapers towards the tip and the counterpoise, which is filled with lume.

Seeking to promote uniqueness in both product and customer experience, Schofield allows its customers to select a strap for the Daymark Dark from its ever growing and extensive range. The Daymark Dark comes in an English made Ash wood box with brass hardware and engraved detailing. As standard, the Daymark Dark will ship on a black OMI strap and comes with a ceramic buckle.
