Luxury Swiss watch brand ArtyA has developed a 2nd unique hand engraved Titanium watch in a tonneau shape, after the immediate sell out of the first one realized in 2015.
The arabesque motifs on the titanium watch case are very difficult to work and very labour intensive. Utilizing the age-old tradition of royal gunsmiths, the case has been engraved out of grade 5 titanium, more usually renowned for its outstanding hardness. The floral motifs draw inspiration from foliage patterns on historic gun stocks. The watch is made from as-cast titanium and inlaid with 18-carat gold by master engraver Bram Ramon, who has once again used innovative techniques in watchmaking for ArtyA, coupled with the influences of Gothic art.
This hand-produced pattern is in himself an outstanding achievement for any craftsman. But the really eye-catching exploit for any connoisseur is that for the first time in watchmaking, it is engraved in grade 5 titanium.
The Arabesque Tourbillon is powered by a fabulous hand-wound Swiss-made historical mechanical mono pusher chrono tourbillon, regulated by a flying tourbillon with an outstanding Five days (120-hours) power reserve. There has been a lot of high watchmaking work to secure it to the highest standard of ArtyA Complications collection. The fantastic look of this movement adds to the magic of this incredible and unique masterpiece.
The watch is engraved with “Pièce Unique – 1/1”, on a full-skin crocodile strap.
