Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Midnight Blue Edition

This year, Jaeger-LeCoultre expands its Rendez-Vous collection by presenting new watch models featuring midnight blue theme. In this new edition, the dials, straps, hands, and day/night indicators of the Rendez-Vous models are bathed in blue’s majestic aura.

The collection starts with two diamond set versions of Rendez-Vous Night & Day watch in two case sizes: 29mm (small) and 34mm (Medium). Dazzling yet mysterious, the 29 mm or 34 mm stainless steel case provides a magnificent setting for the extremely delicate day/night indicator complication. The watch reveals a playful contrast between a midnight blue dial and a dazzling, gem-set bezel. The sapphire crystal case back uncovers part of the movement to lend a touch of sophistication to the watch.

The easily legible, powdered, silvered numerals stand out delicately against the sunray-finished midnight blue dial. The alligator leather strap matches the dial and features tone-on-tone topstitching. As it incorporates an interchangeability system, the strap can be changed over and over again without requiring a single tool.

The Small version (Reference Q3468480) houses Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 967A (automatic mechanical movement with 203 parts and a 42-hour power reserve) and the Medium version (Reference Q3448480) is powered with Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 898A/1 (automatic mechanical movement with 204 parts and 40-hour power reserve).

A classic, minimalist looking third version of Rendez-Vous Night & Day (Reference Q3448410) is available in stainless steel with midnight blue, alligator leather strap. On its impressive dial, the guilloché finishes imitate wild silk to create a material-effect backdrop against which the floral numerals, scattered with mounted diamonds, perform a gentle farandole. The seconds hand and floral blued steel hands mark the passing of time while adding to the general feeling of elegance.

In an opening at 6 o’clock on the dial, the sun and moon take turns to complete their daily course and indicate whether it is day or night. Their appearance brings a hint of poetry to telling the time. The top-stitched midnight blue alligator leather strap delicately recalls the colour of the hands of the day/night indicator. This timepiece is equipped with Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 898/1, automatic mechanical movement with 204 parts and 40-hour power reserve.

Last but not least, the mid-night blue themed Rendez-Vous Tourbillon watch in white gold (Reference Q3413480) brings together Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watch and jewellery know-how. Its dazzling finishes and captivating mechanism adorn the wrist with an uncommon spectacle.

At 6 o’clock, the fascinating, midnight blue dial of this Rendez-Vous watch reveals a glimpse of one of the most sophisticated watch complications: the tourbillon. A row of brilliant-cut diamonds encircles the heart of the Rendez-Vous Tourbillon’s dial. This ring is then intersected by another precious circle to showcase the tourbillon. When combined with the gem-set bezel, they form a perfectly proportioned design. The bezel is not the only part that dazzles; the case sides, the lugs and the crown – with its inverted diamond– also bathe the wrist in light and form contrasts with the midnight blue alligator leather strap. The model houses Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 978, an automatic mechanical movement with 302 parts and 45-hour power reserve.
