A couple of years after their 2016 Kickstarter online crowd funding campaign that raised a record amount of around £170,000 to fund the mass production of the debut H1 titanium dive watch, UK based Hamtun presents their first ever Swiss movement powered timepiece Neon.
The Neon Automatic features high quality components sourced from well-respected suppliers and assembled in Hamtun’s unique, in-house case. Highlights of the watch are the STP 1-11 automatic movement from Switzerland, a custom designed case made from surgical grade 316L stainless steel and ceramic, and Super-LumiNova for easy readability in the dark.
Measuring 42mm diameter and 13mm thickness, the watch case is available in brushed or matte black PVD coated finishing. The sapphire crystal case back enables the owner to view the movement details. The fixed watch bezel is made from matte finished ceramic. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters. Engraved with the brand logo, the screwed down crown ensures enhanced water tightness to the watch. Front glass is made with sapphire crystal featuring a 3 layer anti-reflective coating inside.
The Swiss Made STP 1-11 automatic movement bears 26 jewels, beats at 28,800vph, and features hacking seconds. It can deliver a power reserve up to 44 hours when fully wound.
The watch comes with an option of several dial versions in a dark gray satin or a white full lume option, with hour markers in 5 five different colors. The watch comes fitted with a solid 316L stainless steel bracelet with high quality racheting clasp and in brushed or black PVD finishes to match the case finishing.
On 30th January, Hamtun launched the Neon Automatic Kickstarter campaign with pledges starting at £269. Post successful campaign, the product delivery is planned in Aug 2018.
