SUISSEMECANICA is a Swiss watchmaking brand based in La Chaux-de-Fonds. It designs, develops and produces timepieces in limited editions only, all featuring a distinctive aesthetic appearance and unique design.

Founded in early 2010 by watch designers and enthusiasts Juliana Arbeláez-Renoult and François Renoult, the brand’s objective is to create timepieces in the unadulterated tradition of those who have written the history of Fine Watchmaking.

For its first collection SM8,  SUISSEMECANICA has developed a number of innovations, including a brand new, patented system for protecting sliding crowns. SuisseMecanica embodies the perfect balance between the highest quality watchmaking, technical innovation and powerful design.

SUISSEMECANICA relies uncompromisingly on the best craftsmanship partners in the Swiss Jura, capable of meeting – and even surpassing – the most stringent Swiss Made requirements.

The brand unveiled their products for the first time at Belles Montres in 2012, and at BaselWorld 2013, made its debut in the circle of independent watchmakers. Finding itself located right from the outset alongside the leading players at the event,  SUISSEMECANICA aroused the enthusiasm of even the most experienced observers. Retailers, visitors and professionals all found reasons to like SuisseMecanica’s first collection.

Having passed the Basel test with flying colours, SUISSEMECANICA now needs to build on this success. Today, the brand is distributed in France by expert retailers who have identified the brand’s potential, such as Romain Réa. Being selected by one of the greatest names on the Parisian watch scene has of course been noted by many of the store’s counterparts, both in France and abroad. Negotiations for sales agreements are in the advanced stages throughout the rest of Europe, Asia and the United States.

With careful selection of its watchmakers, SUISSEMECANICA moves at best trademarks registered in the Swiss watchmaking tradition. SUISSEMECANICA is characterized by the production of very limited series, which allows the manufacture of position itself as one of the few capable of produce real exceptional pieces.

Horology professionals like Jean Yves Jug, for the technical development of all Innovations Housing, Valerian Jaquet, for development of templates, or Jean-Marie Donze for the assembly and the development of the whole of timepieces, help realize each of SUISSEMECANICA creations. This team work is distinguished by its rich experience, a sense honed to perfection by its effectiveness and the unfailing patience, essential quality in the Haute Horlogerie.
