German watch brand Defakto presents a unisex timepiece Vektor Radial, which takes inspiration from the vintage science-fiction interfaces and builds a bridge between classical 1950s design and modern minimalist aesthetics.
Featuring a retro-futuristic design, this timepiece boasts a convex plexiglas dial circumnavigated by manually shaped hands. The finely drawn indexation with its polyrhythmic interplay of appearing circles and overlapping lines and the thin, rounded hands with disc-like hearts make up the modern, yet warm character of the Defakto Vektor Radial. It comes dressed in a two-piece 39 mm stainless steel watchcase featuring a finely sandblasted, graphite-black PVD-coated surface.
Made in Pforzheim, Germany, this watch houses the automatic Miyota 9015 calibre that offers a power reserve of 42 hours and displays time via its elegant, smoothly-rotating sweeping second hand, running constantly through the curved space of the watch.
