SEIKO expands its Presage Cocktail collection by introducing new Star Bar models inspired by two cocktails – Starlight and Sakura Fubuki – created by Hisashi Kishi, the head bartender at the STAR BAR in Tokyo’s Ginza area.
At Baselworld 2017, the Japanese watchmaker showcased a new Presage series inspired by the glamorous world of the cocktail bar.
Globally released this year, the Seiko Presage Cocktail watch collection has been offering the eight models, each inspired by a different cocktail. Now, this series welcomes two new designs featuring inspired by cocktails created by Hisashi Kishi.
The first design has a deep blue dial evoking the Starlight cocktail, inspired by brilliance and mystery of the night sky. The second design spotlights delicate white pink dial inspired by Sakura Fubuki cocktail that expresses the beauty of cherry blossom in the spring breeze.
The depth and rich tone of textured and patterned dials evoke the exact look of the cocktails in the STAR BAR glass.
Each of the two designs is available in two versions. Total four models are available. The first two models (references SSA361J1 and SSA363J1) feature a centre power reserve indicator and a subdial at 6 o’clock for displaying the date. They house Cal. 4R57 automatic movement.
The next two versions (SRPC01J1 and SRPC03J1) feature Automatic Caliber 4R35 with the date at 3 o’clock. All four models have 40.5mm diameter stainless steel cases and exhibition case backs.
The brand offers separate limited editions for international and JDM models.
