Seiko Watch Corporation presents a new limited edition Grand Seiko Hi-beat 36000 GMT watch, inspired by the beauty of the peacock.

With its deep green color and stamped pattern, the dial is at once striking and yet subtle. The case and movement are the same as in the celebrated Grand Seiko Hi-Beat 36000 reference SBGJ005 watch that won the ’’Petite Aiguille” award prize at the Grand Prix de Genève in 2014.

The Grand Seiko Peacock Green Dial watch comes with a 40mm diameter stainless steel case and the Hi-Beat Automatic Caliber 9S86 that beats at the rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour.

The hi-beat GMT movement 9S86 has a high accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds a day and a power reserve of 55 hours. The GMT hand can be used as a dual time indicator with the hour hand being adjustable independently. It also features a date display at 3 o’clock. This 37 jewel automatic calibre is viewable through the sapphire crystal case-back.

The case is a contemporary re-interpretation of the acclaimed 44GS design from 1967 that set the Grand Seiko style. Like every Grand Seiko watch, it offers highly polished, distortion- free surfaces, razor edged hands for high legibility and perfect comfort on the wrist.

Fitted on a stainless steel bracelet, this timepiece is a limited edition of 700 pieces.
