Von Doren Jotunheim Lady

Norwegian watch brand Von Doren presents Jotunheim Lady, an elegantly designed wrist watch collection dedicated to women. Designed by Filmmaker Øyvind VonDoren Asbjornsen, founder of the brand, these classic ladies’ wristwatches take inspiration from Norwegian nature and Viking Art Nouveau.

This watch series takes its name from Jotunheimen, a beautiful Norwegian National park and mountainous area. Incorporating the Viking good luck charm rune No. 12 into the main dial and a flower decoration engraved on the back case, Jotunheim Lady is a timepiece collection with clean lines and a hint of vintage flair. One eye-catching element on the watch dial is Grade-A ruby stone with its own unique cut and glow.

The Jotunheim Lady watches are available three different color combinations: Champagne dial – Rosegold plated case with Beige leather strap, Snow white dial – Yellow gold case with Brown leather strap and Frost white dial – Brushed steel case with Black leather strap.

Made from 316L surgical stainless steel, the watch case measures 36mm diameter x 8 mm thickness. Rated for a water resistance of 50 meters, the watch is fitted with a double dome sapphire glass. Inside each timepiece beats a Ronda Swiss Powertech 7 series quartz movement, which powers basic timekeeping functions without seconds hand. The watch is secured with the Italian handcrafted leather band with quick release function.

On August 11th,  Von Doren brand launched a Kickstarter campaign for this collection, and achieved the goal of NOK100, 000 (Approx €10,900 EUR) within the first 24 hours. The campaign ends on September 10th, 2017. The brand offers a special Kickstarter price of NOK2, 200 (Approx €230EUR) which includes a Von Doren watch and a luxury leather box. All watches will be delivered for free worldwide and will be shipped out in September 2017.
