Cementing its intention to expand in the Middle East market, Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot has opened its new boutique in Doha, in the presence of Hublot Regional Director Middle East & Africa Marco Tedeschi, members of AlMajed Group and Friend of the Brand Arab Superstar Ragheb Alama.
After its latest boutique opened its doors in Al-Khobar, the Swiss brand inaugurated its 12th boutique in the region on 12 Apr 17, in Doha’s Lagoona Mall, in Qatar. Marco Tedeschi, Regional Director Hublot Middle East and Africa; AlMajed Chairman Ahmed Mahdi Al Majed and AlMajed Vice President Jamil Mahdi Al Majed welcomed customers, collectors and press members, who were pleasantly surprised to see special guest Arab Superstar Ragheb Alama, Hublot’s first Friend of the Brand from the Middle East, who flew in for the occasion.
Attendees discovered the latest watches and interacted with the singer, who recently starred in Hublot’s second Middle East and Africa campaign.
In the evening, Hublotistas and esteemed guests joined the Hublot team and members of AlMajed Group at a private dinner hosted by the AlMajed family. In a more intimate setting, guests had the opportunity to learn more about the brand and its novelties, while discussing horology and their personal watch preferences.
This year is a special “Art of Fusion” year for Hublot, and the theme resonates through the new boutique from ceiling to floor. The fusion of different materials and styles create a welcoming atmosphere, kept friendly by warm lighting.
Contemporary reinterpretations of 16th-century mouldings, silver brushed oak floors and upholstered walls covered in silk-fabric, interspersed with black wood and chrome steel details complement the Italian hand-made contemporary furnishing, enhancing the lavish feel of the surroundings and matching the exquisite timepieces.
