Divine Time by Harry Winston

The House of Harry Winston introduces Divine Time – a scintillating and versatile high jewelry timepiece that can either be worn as a pendant or on the wrist as a traditional timepiece.

New York City – the city of soaring skyscrapers, sophisticated nightlife and the epicenter of the Art Deco movement in the United States – is also home to Harry Winston. Founded in 1932, at the height of the Art Deco movement, Harry Winston’s dazzling creations shifted the spotlight of the high jewelry scene from Paris to New York City. The Divine Time by Harry Winston captures the spirit of this period to perfection, marrying its refined, symmetrical elegance with the brilliance of Harry Winston’s unparalleled diamonds.

Pendant watches have always been a glamorous way for women to wear their timepieces and are currently making a revival on the high jewelry scene. Last year, Harry Winston unveiled the romantic Rosebud Heart. In continuing in this tradition, this year, Harry Winston presents Divine Time, a high jewelry timepiece destined to attract women who value versatility and the spectacular sparkle of fine diamonds.

An array of diamonds, cut in different shapes and sizes, covers the entire surface of the 18-karat white gold timepiece and demonstrates the expertise of Harry Winston’s stone cutters and gem setters. Starting from the center, the dial is paved with 188 brilliant-cut diamonds and set with six stunning marquise diamonds, which also serve as hour markers. Rather than setting the marquise diamonds directly on the base of the dial, the gem setters placed them on top of the pave diamonds, giving the dial an extraordinary sense of depth and allowing the light to reach all facets of the gemstones.

Echoing the silhouette of the curvaceous case are 28 brilliant-cut diamonds crowned at both ends by a magnificent trio of diamonds. Larger than any of the other diamonds used to embellish the timepiece, the triumphant ensemble of a baguette cut diamond flanked by two marquise diamonds is absolutely captivating.

The Divine Time by Harry Winston can be worn as a pendant, with a Harry Winston tag set with a brilliant-cut diamond on an 18-karat white gold chain, or around the wrist on an openwork alligator leather strap, which is embellished with an additional 27 brilliant-cut diamonds on the ardillon buckle. The transformation from pendant to timepiece is done with great ease and allows for the versatility of the wearer.
