Influenced by former epochs, EPOS has created three new models sporting a distinctive retro-look. Using state-of-the-art technology, the traditional Swiss watch brand breathes new life into the watch design of the 1960s.
EPOS Originale 3408 Retro
The latest 3408 version is equipped with a retro dial to highlight traditional watchmaking. It’s available in different variations. The decision should be made between a matt beige, a dark grey with sunray and a lacquered white dial.
All versions are characterized by the curved and printed Arabic hour markers. The slightly lowered small second stays at six o’clock position. Furthermore, the model’s case is available in a classic stainless steel or rose gold PVD coating combined with either a mesh- or leather-strap.
Its central eyecatcher is again the antique ‘Peseux 7001’movement with a thickness of only 2.5 millimeter. The hand-wound movement is decorated with a sophisticated ‘Côtes de Genève’-pattern and blued steel screws.
A highly polished stainless-steel case with its clear lines, angles and curved lugs gives the EPOS 3408 watch a luxurious finish. The handy onion crown is particularly highlighted by its over-size, which makes operating of the hand-wound movement comfortable.
The model is equipped with sapphire crystal on the front and a see-through mineral glass on the case-back. It is water resistant up to a depth of 30 meters. The case measures a diameter of 40 millimeters. The EPOS 3408 watch is only 5.9 millimeter thick, which makes it one of the thinnest mechanical watches worldwide.
EPOS Originale 3437 Retro
The classic retro dial of the new EPOS 3437 watch is built in a stainless-steel case, which is characterized by its domed sapphire crystal. The reflections on the cases edge and the surfaces curvature effect an optical merger of the case with the dial.
The case shape with a diameter of 38.8 millimeter has a powerful presence. Due to its thickness of 9.9 millimeter the watch has a high wearing comfort. The sophisticated decoration of the automatic ETA 2824 movement is visible through an open back.
The case is available with stainless steel or rose gold PVD coating. Further, there are two types of dial variations available for selection, either a blue or silver dial with sunray finishing.
The model can be worn with either a black leather strap or a stainless steel mesh bracelet. It is water resistant up to a depth of 50 meter.
EPOS Emotion 3390 Retro
The EPOS Emotion 3390 series will be complemented by a retro-model. The new model’s unconventional, extensive shape of the hands immediately catches the eye.
Its hands and the cream-colored printed Arabic hour markers complement each other perfectly. The grey dial forms a beautiful contrast to the colorful hour markers and hands – a combination which gives the watch its intended retro-look.
The popular EPOS Emotion case shape with its classic onion crown remained unchanged. It measures a thickness of 9 millimeters and a diameter of 41 millimeters.
The model is available with a stainless steel bracelet or a leather strap and is water resistant up to 50 meters. The EPOS Emotion 3390 timepiece is powered by an automatic ETA 2892 movement, which is executed with a fine Soigné decoration.
