This new series from the Graham Chronofighter Vintage family is inspired by the sensual Nose Art decorative paintings on the nose/fuselage of military aircrafts during the World War II.
Presently, Graham is offering four Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art Ltd watch models featuring sun-brushed vintage dials with painted pin-up girls named Sally, Anna, Lilly and Nina. Each version is limited to 100 pieces. Glamorous illustrations, in the style of those first applied to military planes in the 1940s to bolster military morale, turn these timepieces into appealing statements of hope and freedom.
The Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art Ltd watch features a 44mm stainless steel case with an automatic chronograph movement beating inside it. Among the four references, two models feature black sun-brushed dials and the remaining two have blue sun-brushed dial.
The finely finished dial features the day and date display at 9 o’ clock, small seconds dial at 3 o’ clock and 30 minutes counter at 6 o’ clock. Sensually portrayed, the pin-up girl (Sally, Anna, Lilly or Nina) cover a large area on the right half of the dial.
The watches are fitted on a hand-sewn leather strap with steel pin buckle.
