A. Lange & Söhne presents a smaller version of its iconic Lange 1 Moonphase watch. Equipped with a new movement, the LITTLE LANGE 1 MOON PHASE comes dressed in a 36.8-millimetre pink gold case and features a guilloched, argenté-coloured dial.
Compared to the LANGE 1 MOON PHASE, this latest version of the classic timepiece is 1.7 millimetres smaller. The warm gloss of the polished pink-gold case contrasts with the exquisitely guilloched, argenté-coloured gold dial of the LITTLE LANGE 1 MOON PHASE.
Featuring two golden moons, the lunar disc of this model is also argenté-coloured. The astronomical complication emulates the synodic orbit of the earth’s companion so accurately that it only needs to be corrected by one day every 122.6 years. Shiny pink-gold hands and appliques accentuate the asymmetric dial with its precisely jumping outsize date display. The delicately gradated colour concept is immaculately complemented with a white alligator leather strap that is secured with a pink-gold prong buckle.
The technical features of the manually wound L121.2 movement – it is based on the calibre of the LANGE 1 introduced two years ago – include the characteristic twin mainspring barrel with a power reserve of 72 hours.
The large cam-poised balance paired with a hairspring crafted in-house oscillates beneath the hand-engraved balance cock. The lavishly hand-finished movement of this timepiece is a true gem that can be admired through the sapphire-crystal caseback.
