This fall, Casio America is expanding its rugged and versatile PRO TREK line of outdoor timepieces with the new PRG600Y-1 model. Outfitted with Casio’s next-generation Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology, and Tough Solar Power, the PRG600Y-1 is a must-have accessory for outdoor enthusiasts.
The PRG600Y-1 features Casio’s Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology which includes a direction sensor for compass readings, pressure sensor for altimeter/barometer readings and a thermo sensor. It is also low-temperature resistant up -10°C / 14°F and water resistant up to 100 meters.

With Casio’s Tough Solar Power technology, the PRG600Y-1 eliminates the need for battery changes. After a full-charge, the timepiece has a battery life of approximately seven months without further exposure to light and can be charged even in low or fluorescent light. The timepiece also has a special Power Save feature that allows it to power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time, helping to further conserve energy.
Designed with a soft black silicone band called Dura Soft, an oversized stainless steel bezel and Earth-inspired colors, the PRG600Y-1 looks great with casual wear and feels comfortable on the wrist.
In addition, it features three-dimensional index marks and broad hour and minute hands for optimum visibility, with large numerals at the 12, 3, and 9 o’clock positions. Other features include 29-city world time + UTC, five daily alarms, full auto double LED lights with afterglow and more.
The Casio PRO TREK PRG600Y-1 watch is available now at select jewelers and retailers nationwide for an MSRP of $320.
