Niall, a Kansas City-based luxury watch company, has launched its second line of timepieces.
The Niall GMT is the company’s first expansion beyond its successful first line, the Niall One, which was launched in June 2015. The GMT features two sub-dials — one for sweeping sub-seconds and the other for tracking Greenwich Mean Time, a function that dates back to original travel watches of the 1950s.
Aesthetically, the company drew inspiration from mid-century fashion, leading to a smaller, more refined case (40 x 10.7 mm). It is available in black, white and blue dials, respectively, with black and blue premium leather or American alligator strap options.
The two-year process of creating the timepiece required an intense focus on engineering for Niall. The company continues to make all of its components in America and combines them with the Swiss Made ETERNA automatic movement.
Manufactured by the world renowned Swiss watch manufacture ETERNA, the movement beats inside the Niall GMT offers power reserve up to 65 hours. Hours and minutes are indicated by two central hands. The Small seconds counter is positioned at 9’o clock and the 24hours subdial, which can be used as a second time zone indicator, finds its place at 6’o clock. The date window is at 3’o clock.
The stainless steel case of the watch is fitted with highly durable and scratch resistant Corning© Gorilla© Glass.
