Komrade Watches – Military Diver’s watch, Military Field Watch and Urban Diver’s Watch
Based in Papamoa Beach in New Zealand, Komrade is specialised in the production of military style dive watches.
Presently the brand offers three models of diving watches: Military Diver’s watch, Military Field Watch and Urban Diver’s Watch. Rated for a water resistance up to 300 meters, these automatic diving watches are powered by the Miyota 9015 automatic movement.
The basic case is constructed from marine grade stainless steel. Here, finishing of the case, bezel and crown define the models. The Military Diver’s watch has DLC coating on the bezel and crown where as Military Field Watch features DLC coating on the bezel, crown and case.
The Urban Diver’s Watch comes in a sand-blasted stainless steel case without DLC coating. On front side of the watch, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass protects the dial and inner mechanism from the rigours of everyday life.
Case size remains same for all models: 40mm (42mm to outer edge of the crown). For high legibility during dark conditions, the watch uses C3 superlume on the hands, numerals on the dial and on the 120 click directional bezel. Thanks to the use of high grade materials, these watches have greater wear resistance and are extremely tough.
The Military Diver’s Watch ships with two straps: rubber or a stainless steel mesh. The Military Field Watch is worn with a rugged canvas or the NATO style strap whereas the Urban model comes supplied with two straps, one leather and the other a sturdy canvas. All timepieces are also come with spare pins and strap changing tool.
