Established by master watchmaker Kim Djapri, the atelier Bélier is located in Dresden, the town traditionally associated with high end mechanical watch making. The atelier has recently unveiled its debut collection under Bélier label.
Christened as Reverse, this manual winding wristwatch reflects the creator’s know-how and expertise in the field of high end horology. Handmade and with the perfectly executed balance frequency of 2 ½ Hertz, the Bélier Reverse reveals its beauty to the beholder in special details only on second glance.
Only 33 pieces will be offered in this exclusive collection: 11 pieces in rose gold, 11 pieces in white gold and 11 pieces in platinum.
After finishing training at Robert-Gerwig-School in Furtwangen, (Black Forest), Kim Djapri worked as a watchmaker for Lang & Heyne in Dresden until 2014. Working with the distinguished German Watchmaker, Marco Lang, Kim was introduced to the Haute Horology, learning High-End-Finishing Techniques such as: edge-polishing, silver graining, and decorative beveling, to a quality that a machine cannot match.
Kim Djapri became a representative for the company, allowing him to travel around the world. These excursions were brimming with priceless information concerning the wishes and demands of watch enthusiasts which seemed to boil down to one thing: the yearning for that which is unique. This idea of uniqueness led to Kim Djapri’s first watch, “Reverse”, which is completely original from its construction and build to the finishing touches. Since 2015, Kim Djapri has been designing and building watches under his own label.
