The DeckWatch watch collection from the German watch maker ARCHIMEDE pays homage to the designs of early watches used by officers in the navy and on merchant ships.
Already available in stainless steel versions, the brand now expands this collection by introducing the DeckWatch with Bronze case.
The ICKLER Bronze case has the same properties of the Bronze cases of the Pilot family. The natural surface will develop the characteristic Bronze vintage patina over time. Like the stainless steel variations, the bronze model boasts classic silvered dial featuring Arabic numeral hour markers, blues steel hour & minute hands and the small seconds indicator at 6’o clock.
The face of the timepiece is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The traditional blued steel hands are manufactured in house by ICKLER.
Measuring 42mm in diameter, the ICKLER made bronze case is finely brushed and polished. Inside beats the legendary ETA 6498 hand wound movement. The screw down caseback with mineral crystal offers the view of this iconic mechanical manual winding movement.
The large crown a with brand logo t 3’o clock serves as the winding crown. There is a choice of a black or brown soft calf leather strap with brushed bronze clasp. Water resistance of the watch is 50 meters. Retail price of ARCHIMEDE DeckWatch with Bronze case is 960 Euros.
