Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Limited edition 2016 Bol D’Or Mirabaud – 78th Edition

On the occasion of 78th edition of the Bol d’Or Mirabaud, as the Official Timekeeper of the event for the fourth consecutive year, Hublot has congratulated the Spindrift Racing crew, winner of the regatta, and unveiled its new Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph 2016 Bol d’Or Mirabaud.

Every year, more than 500 boats (520 this year) take their place at the starting line of the famous Port Noir in Geneva, ready to race the 66.5 nautical miles, facing the whims of the winds. This spectacular start to the race, which each year brings together professional yachtsmen and amateurs, as well as 100 volunteers and 20 boats from the Société Nautique de Genève to manage the competing multihulls and monohulls.

To celebrate this 78th edition, Hublot has created a 78-piece numbered limited watch. Inspired by the codes of sailing and showcasing the blue colours of Lake Geneva, the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph 2016 Bol d’Or Mirabaud will be sure to win over sportspeople looking for a touch of chic, with its skeleton dial and its carbon fibre bezel. This high-tech material is particularly prized by sportspeople, renowned for its lightness, impact resistance and instantly recognisable design. The case of this Classic Fusion is made from black ceramic, and the technical fabric strap is stitched onto blue rubber.
