In 2016, NIVREL celebrates the 80th anniversary of the brand. As known from previous anniversaries, NIVREL presents a new entry-level model for supporters of the brand that comes at a very attractive price point. The NIVREL Jubilé III pays tribute to an old NIVREL timepiece from the past and will be NIVREL’s most well-priced entrance level to the mechanical world at 599,- Euro.

Historically, NIVREL originated from the brand Marvin. Marvin was founded in 1850 by Marc and Emmanuel Didisheim in St. Imier, part of the Swiss Jura region. In 1936, Marvin’s Guillaume Didisheim introduced NIVREL as an additional brand. NIVREL featured men’s watches with chronographs and calendars, as well as small ladies watches.

In 1993, Gerd Hofer – 4th generation of the jewelry family ‘Kraemer/Hofer’ from Saarbrücken/Germany – acquired the brand and integrated it into the tradition of the Kraemer and Hofer family business.

The brand’s 80th anniversary in 2016 is celebrated with a quite special timepiece. The new NIVREL Jubilé III is a remake and modernized version of the long gone reference N 120.001.

Best components and a solid Swiss movement (ETA 2824-2) were chosen to build a watch with an excellent price performance ratio.
