Louis Erard – 1931 Small Second and 1931 Chrono

Flashback to 1931 and the origins of Louis Erard brand, when telemeter and tachymeter functions were in constant demand, when chronographs marked time on two counters, and seconds spontaneously took up residence at 6 o’clock. Fast forward to 2016, and both these creations are still bang on-trend.

Following the latest trends, Louis Erard updates its 1931 collection with two vintage inspired timepieces: 1931 Small Second and 1931 Chrono.

Automatic movements, 40 millimetre and 42.5 millimetre diameters, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides to catch the eye, while the cognac-colour leather strap, or brown leather with crocodile pattern, take their cue from the originals.

As do the dials whose chrono counters overlap the tachymeter and telemeter scales, placing the emphasis on functionality and legibility.

The 1931 SMALL SECOND model is equipped with the Sellita SW-260-1 automatic mechanical movement where as the 1931 CHRONO model houses an ETA 7753 automatic mechanical movement.
