Seiko Prospex World Time Solar Chronograph

In addition to the Marinemaster GPS Solar Dual-Time SSF001 watch, Seiko has launched three new Prospex World Time Solar Chronograph models.

Seiko World Time Solar Chronograph

Special designed for sailing activities, this Prospex chronograph watch shows both local and home time simultaneously in a simple dial layout. Moreover, it never needs a battery change, thanks to the Seiko Caliber V195 solar movement that draws all the energy from light alone.

Three versions are available: SSC485P1, SSC487P1 and SSC489P1. These stainless steel watches respectively feature white, black and blue dials.

In addition to time and date, this timepiece displays world time (25 cities), dual-time at 12 o’clock, and chronograph with split time measurement. The watch indicates its power reserve at 12 o’clock along with function indicators.

The 44.6mm diameter case of the Seiko Prospex World Time Solar Chronograph is 10 atm/100 meter water-resistant. Fitted on a stainless steel bracelet or silicone strap, it comes with a screw case back and a screw-down crown, which is itself protected by a special crown guard.
