Hemel is a United States based watch brand established by Marvin Menke, a New York City based designer and branding expert.
Its debut collection, the Hemel Military (HM) series takes inspiration from the legendary military timepieces. The HM series takes standard features of a military watch – easy-to-read black dials with white luminescent numbers and minute markers (A11, A17 and W10 dials), domed crystals, and nylon tactical straps.
The HM watches are equipped with high precise yet affordable Miyota 9015 Japanese automatic movement with 24 jewels. Its 40mm surgical grade stainless steel case is fitted with deeply curved lugs for better fit.
The brand has just launched an online crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter for the promotion of the Hemel Military (HM) series, which is presently offering four models: Marshal 10 (Reference HM1 series), Marshal Track (Reference HM2 series), Marshal Arrowhead (Reference HM3 series) and Marshal Spear (Reference HM4 series).
On Kickstarter, these models can be pre-ordered by backing the Hemel Military (HM) series crowd funding campaign. Price starts from $124.
Equipped with domed sapphire crystals, each Hemel Military watch is also tested for 100 meter depth resistance. They come fitted with rugged, heavy-duty nylon straps in a variety of on-trend colors.
