Anonimo expands its Militare Alpini watch collection by introducing the new Camouflage version.
Launched in 2014, Anonimo Militare Alpini is the reinterpretation of the historical version of the watch first designed in 2001. It bares the strongly identifiable codes of the iconic Anonimo watch: a cushion case with the crown positioned at 12 o’clock and protected between the side contacts of the case that can be very easily accessed via the adjustable hinges.
Its patented system guarantees the water resistance of the case by simply closing it with one click. The changes are significant: a sandwich construction for a reduced thickness of the case, a modified strap attachment system at 12 o’clock with a stronger resistance and a screwed back.
Deeply linked to the brand’s Italian origins and its new homeland Switzerland where the company has been established since 2013, Anonimo wanted to bring together those two cultures which constitute the spirit of the brand.
The Matterhorn is the natural link between these two countries. This mythical and elegant mountain, with a summit of 4.478 metres shows its sharp ridges on one slope in Italy and the other one in Switzerland. The Militare Alpini is a tribute to this summit and to the 4th regiment of the Italian Alpini corps.
The Militare Alpini CAMOUFLAGE is the 2016 new version specially dedicated to military watches. Edited in two versions, an automatic one (two colours) and a chronograph version (three colours), each of them launches in a 97 watches limited Edition.
Its stainless case back is as usual engraved with the profile of the Matterhorn. The cases are only made in bronze enriched with aluminium in order to get a better patina as past time and a better resistance.
