MIDO Ocean Star Captain Titanium (M026.430.44.061.00)
Incredibly light and uncompromisingly robust, the new Mido Ocean Star Captain Titanium watch is designed for conquering the depths.
Its case and bracelet are made of satin-finished and polished titanium, a metal that is lighter and more resistant than stainless steel. The unidirectional rotating bezel and the bracelet complete with folding clasp and diving extension are also assets that will appeal to diving enthusiasts.
Water-resistant up to a pressure of 20 bars (200 m/660 ft), this model is fitted with the Caliber 80, a latest-generation automatic movement.
Fitted with a case and bracelet in satin-finished and polished titanium, the Ocean Star Captain Titanium weighs just 123 grams. Despite this exceptional lightness, the model has lost nothing of its legendary robustness.
Designed to meet the demands of underwater exploration, the Ocean Star Captain Titanium is water-resistant up to a pressure of 20 bars (200 m/660 ft). It is fitted with an uncluttered grained anthracite dial.
The Super-LumiNova® coating on the indexes and hour, minute and seconds hands guarantee perfect readability, both underwater and at night. Dive-time safety is assured by the unidirectional rotating bezel featuring an anthracite sandblasted aluminium ring, which also features a white Super-LumiNova® dot at 12 o’clock.
Measuring 42.5 mm in diameter, the robust case of the Mido Ocean Star Captain Titanium houses the Caliber 80, a latest-generation automatic movement with up to 80 hours of power reserve. Its dial is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal treated on both sides. It features an aperture indicating the day and date at 3 o’clock.
Several touches of orange on the dial, bezel and seconds hand recall the Mido identity and highlight the sporty spirit of the Ocean Star Captain Titanium. The case back is adorned with a starfish, the symbol of the Ocean Star collection.
