Breitling Chronomat 44 Blacksteel

Breitling presents Chronomat 44 Blacksteel, a new and powerful version of Swiss watch brand’s flagship model Chronomat, the ultimate aviation chronograph. The steel case is distinguished by its high-resistance carbon-based black treatment.

The unidirectional rotating bezel features black rubber-inlaid numerals and a large luminescent dot facilitating the countdown of flight or dive times. The equally black dial in line with the grand tradition of Breitling pilot’s watches stands out for its three square counters and its red accents reminiscent of instrument panels.

The exclusive strap of this chronograph combines a military-style anthracite high-tech fabric exterior with a rubber lining guaranteeing excellent comfort.

On the technical side, this model of sturdiness and ergonomics, equipped with screw-lock crown and push pieces and water-resistant to 200 m (660 ft), is distinguished by its exceptional engine: Manufacture Breitling Caliber 01 self- winding chronograph movement, powered by a black oscillating weight visible through the transparent caseback.

Reliability and precision of this timepiece has been certified by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute). The watch is priced at £7,230 and it’s available from January 2016.
