The award winning Lambda model from Glashütte watch brand NOMOS is now available in a smaller size: Lambda 39 with gold plated or tempered blue hands—and entirely new, Lambda 39 black velvet with a dark dial. These watches from 18kt rose gold are valuable and very beautiful, combining the highest quality and timeless elegance on a dial of 39 millimeters. A golden case ring holds the dial under the curved sapphire crystal glass, while the fineness of the dial with its generous power reserve indicator is reminiscent of an exquisite etching.
Lambda 39, an entirely classic version with golden hands combines the highest quality and timeless elegance in a 39-millimeter diameter. Only two or three of these gold watches are crafted a week in the NOMOS Atelier.
Lambda 39 with tempered blue hands for even clearer times. The movement DUW 1001 also offers the promise of inner values: swan neck fine adjustment, gold chatons, and a hand-engraved balance cock— to name only a few examples.
The dark dial of Lambda 39 black velvet contrasts particularly beautifully with the elegant case of 18 kt rose gold.
The inner workings of these watches are also particularly special: Just as in the larger versions, there is also a fine hand-wound caliber ticking within these slightly smaller timepieces. With DUW 1001 NOMOS Glashütte has once again gone to extremes of effort in engineering and production—DUW stands for “NOMOS Glashütte Deutsche Uhrenwerke,” underlining the in-house caliber production capabilities of the watchmaking company.
All of the characteristics of traditional Glashütte craftsmanship can be found in this caliber : screwed gold chatons, hand-beveled edges, a hand engraved balance cock, twin mainspring barrels and so a power reserve of three-and-a half-days, swan neck fine adjustment, and sunburst fine polishing. The new models are available with selected NOMOS retailers from August.
