Invisible setting, invented 200 years ago, holds the diamonds float with no gold visible between them.
The diamonds seems to float, while the gold structure beneath holds them securely. Grooves have to be cut into each diamond, and these grooves have to match perfectly. The diamonds are slid onto the gold rails and the target is to find a perfect flow of the diamonds.
Baguette diamonds are perfect for invisible setting due to the straight edges. They can be placed very close to each other, emitting a maximum of luminosity. While setting, each diamond has to be readjusted and re-cutted in order to find the perfect size.
