This year, a perpetual calendar model joins the Ingenieur range of timepieces by IWC Schaffhausen. Technically, this model boasts similar functions of the IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month Edition “75th Anniversary” that was launched early this year at SIHH. But when we talk about it external specifications, this new timepiece is sportier and rugged thanks to its Ingenieur roots.
Equipped with the mechanical chronograph movement IWC 89802, this Ingenieur timepiece offers Chronograph with flyback function, perpetual calendar featuring large double-digit displays for both the date and the month and also a leap year display.
This 51 jewels automatic movement offers power reserve up to 68 hours. Its case, which is made with 18-carat red gold and titanium aluminide, has a water resistance up to 120 meters.
The black dial features sapphire inlays. The IWC Ingenieur Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month Ref. IW379203 is available in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
