Cuervo y Sobrinos has distilled the brand’s conquering spirit into the new skeletonized Historiador Squelette. Available in 18-carat gold and in steel, this timepiece reveals all in two limited editions. The skeletonised version of the Historiador has everything a connoisseur could want – hand winding, hours, minutes and small seconds at 6 o’clock and the beauty and transparency of a fine watch movement.
True to its Art Deco’s roots, the timepiece has a gold colour decoration on the dial with the old safe of the Habana shop in Cuba, roman numerals and indexes performed. The gold or steel case recalls the curves of a sketch found in the abandoned Havana workshops in the latest 40’s.Both models house a CYS 2052 movement hand engraved in limited edition with a skeletonized finishing. The screwed case-back is sealed to withstand 3 atm. of pressure.
The model in gold or in steel case has a gold colour dial perforated with special engraving and features an elegant brown Louisiana Alligator strap. The ultimate in art deco sophistication, a sophisticated design crosses the dial and cleverly ties together the displays making it inimitable.
