Following the re-launch of the slimmer, leaner version of its iconic C1 line in 2013, Concord now provides a unique glimpse of the secrets of its DNA with the launch of the new 47mm C1 Tourbillon.
Providing a view into the mystical depths revealing the secrets of this iconic timepiece, a black dial symbolizes the sober building blocks of decades of watchmaking expertise. This intriguing design allows spectators to explore and admire the complexity and harmony of the inner elements and components of the C1 Tourbillon, while its black PVD-finished titanium case harmonizes perfectly with a state-of-the-art carbon fiber sub-bezel. This totally 21st century design is extended to a unique presentation box, its stark simplicity a further reminder of the building blocks of care that have been devoted to the construction of this masterpiece.
Firmly anchored on a black rubberized alligator strap, the open case back bears Concord’s traditional inscription “Audace – Savoir-Faire – Avant Garde” in a habitually fitting tribute. Combined with the C1’s trademark eight block case construction, C1 Tourbillon is a ground-breaking demonstration of how this ever-mysterious, quintessential horological complication was created.
