BALL Watch Company presents its new model dedicated to women: the Engineer Hydrocarbon LadyGlow.
For the development of its new ladies’ model, BALL Watch Company has once again turned to renowned designer Magali Métrailler.
A solid timepiece meeting all the durability criteria of the Engineer Hydrocarbon collection, this watch has been designed in a totally feminine spirit of elegance and attention to detail, with the designer’s trademark delicate lines giving the model a softer profile.
The Engineer Hydrocarbon collection was developed to meet the needs of the most intrepid explorers while also offering upbeat contemporary designs. This model will delight today’s active, independent woman by exceeding expectations in terms of both reliability and appearance.
The BALL Engineer Hydrocarbon LadyGlow watch is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel made of black ceramic on which markers from 1 to 60 have been engraved, making it possible to easily measure a specific time period.
The ceramic gives the bezel exceptional resistance to corrosion, scratches and UV rays. Its fluted perimeter and protruding tabs make it easy to handle and facilitate the rotation of the bezel. The black dial matches the bezel and has also been slightly modified by the addition of circular appliqués that give the watch an undeniable depth and sense of chic.
To ensure ultra-effective legibility in the dark, the dials and hands of BALL watches are fitted with micro tubes of luminescent H3 gas. This state-of-the-art Swiss luminous technology is 100 times more effective than conventional luminous paints yet requires no exterior light or energy source.
The tubes positioned at 12 o’clock are yellow in color to mark the difference with the other indexes, which have a green coloring. The hours and minutes hands have also been fitted with gas micro tubes, for a total of 14 tubes overall.
The case, with its 34mm diameter and depth of 11.95mm, makes for a watch that is beyond all doubt designed with women in mind.
The watch’s qualities are rounded off by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, screw-down crown and water resistance to 100 meters. The BALL RR1103 mechanical movement drives its hours, minutes, seconds and date functions.
This model comes with a black dial and a steel bracelet.
