The latest Zetios Automatic model of Milus displays time day and night by way of a frankly seductive interaction between haute horlogerie and haute joaillerie.
The silvery hands of the hours and minutes, which are covered in a luminescent mass for good legibility in the dark, seem to float over a dial of shimmering mother-of-pearl. The hours, in distinguished Roman numerals, appear on a second ring of darker mother-of-pearl. A large date appears at 12 o’clock in the traditional Milus double aperture. And to ensure that the indication of time is nice and airy, the seconds have been placed in a subdial at 6 o’clock, to be read from a hand that replicates in small the hour and minute hands.
The most striking aspect of the new Zetios Automatic, however, is undoubtedly the narrow bezel, which leaves so much space for the dial: it is set with diamonds, which pour like a cascade over the lugs and attachments, 300 in all for a weight of 1.29 carats. Inside the 42-millimeter case of steel with polished DLC beats a robust Dubois Dépraz DD14000 automatic caliber. The movement is visible through the watch’s sapphire case back. This all comes with a bracelet of homogeneous, black satin.
