Jaermann & Stübi Queen of Golf for UICC Limited Edition

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Swiss watch maker Jaermann & Stübi, has partnered Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) for supporting the global fight against cancer. To demonstrate its commitment to this project, Jaermann & Stübi has developed an exclusive model, with a substantial amount per watch sold being donated to the organization.

UICC unites the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, to promote greater equity, and to integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda. UICC is the largest cancer-fighting organisation of its kind, with over 800 member organisations across 155 countries representing the world’s major cancer societies, ministries of health, research institutes, treatment centres and patient groups.

UICC is dedicated to continuing to work with world leaders to increase their support for cancer control measures, and encourage accountability for the cancer commitments made in the UN Political Declaration on NCDs. UICC uses key convening opportunities like the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit, World Cancer Congress and World Cancer Day.

Produced in limited Edition of 99 pieces, the Jaermann & Stübi Queen of Golf for UICC is based on the legendary Queen of Golf Collection, and has been specially designed to pay tribute to the fight against this disease and its screening.

A survey among golfing ladies played an important role in the development of the Queen of Golf. The majority of ladies requested, for example, a case smaller than 40 mm. They also placed importance on an easy-to-read dial, practical usability and an attractive design.

For these ladies, Jaermann & Stübi has reinvented the golf watch with its mechanical counter. The new Queen of Golf range stands out with its elegant, feminine 38 mm case with rounded buttons, a mechanical counter for recording the number of strokes per hole and a totaliser for the score after 18 holes have been played.

The Queen of Golf, like all golf counter watches from Jaermann & Stübi, has the Caliber A10-2 automatic movement, protected by a shock absorber within the 38 mm stainless steel case and visible through the glass back.
