Burberry the Britain S/S15 Runway – The Birds and The Bees

Burberry introduces a limited edition collection to its signature timepiece range. The Britain S/S15 Runway – The Birds and the Bees is a collection of four timepieces inspired by the hand-painted illustrations featured on the Burberry Prorsum Women’s wear Spring/Summer 2015 ‘The Birds and the Bees’ runway.

Set on a 34mm case, the striking quartz timepieces feature a colourful leather strap made of the same material as the leather pieces featured in the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2015 collection. Each strap directly references the vibrant illustrations and playful shades from the runway collection’s colour palette.

Swiss Made and designed by Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, The Britain embodies the brand’s British heritage and is built on design, innovation and function.

Based on the same design principles and craftsmanship as the iconic Burberry trench coat, The Britain references the signature details including the D-ring shaped bezel, the trench colour palette and iconic Burberry check.

Each element is delicately built by hand, from the placing of the movement, to the tightening of the bezel screws.
