IWC Schaffhausen Opens New Boutique at Ocean Terminal Hong Kong

The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has announced the opening of its new boutique at Ocean Terminal in Hong Kong. The boutique is the first in Asia to adopt the “BTQ EVO concept”, featuring new interior design, new materials and new display arrangements aimed at providing watch connoisseurs with an even more refined Swiss haute horlogerie experience.

The new boutique is the first in Asia to implement the BTQ EVO concept, which makes it highly unique. The concept creates a premium shopping experience that parallels the technical ingenuity and the subtlety of IWC’s watchmaking.

After entering the simple, yet impressive doorway, the visitor is instantaneously drawn into the world of IWC. Four glass showcases, set against a clean black and white interior, highlight the brand’s product families and tell the story behind each collection. The interior features finely crafted Macassar Ebony; the glossy timber furnishing provides an additional touch of elegance. A luxurious carpet surrounded by a granite border provides a nice contrast to the fine woodwork.

The Ocean Terminal boutique offers 50 square metres of ingeniously zoned space to showcase the full range of IWC’s haute horlogerie, combining function and aesthetics and tailored to create a captivating shopping experience.

A feature wall unit grounds IWC’s coveted timepieces in the brand’s traditions and adds a sense of depth and history, while a wall console and four library wall showcases provide presentation space for IWC’s six product families as well as the exclusive collection. A central table in the middle of the boutique, with additional showcases on top, completes this luxurious setting of watch displays.
