With the Historiador Flameante watch model, Swiss brand Cuervo y Sobrinos returns to its rich past and revisits one of its extra-thin watches from the 1950s. This new Historiador Flameante watch boasts a stunning guilloché on the dial, known as “flameante” for its unique flame effect which brings out the beauty of the magnificent indigo blue.
The watch is available in a limited edition of 50 in pink gold, one for each of the American states, and of 132 for the steel version, a nod at the number of years since Cuervo y Sobrinos was founded.
The Historiador Flameante Blue Edition watch houses a hand-wound mechanical extra-thin ETA 7001 calibre and displays hours minutes and small seconds on a Indigo blue “flame” guilloché dial.
