Victorinox Swiss Army Alliance 30mm, Quartz
With this newest addition to the Alliance collection, Victorinox Swiss Army proves once again that refinement and elegance combine perfectly with functionality and reliability. Powered by Swiss-Made quartz movements, the three new models for 2014 in powdery pastel colours subtly combine contrasting materials: steel for the case, mother of pearl for the dials, and delicate leather for the straps.
With their slender 30 mm stainless steel cases, the new feminine Alliance editions are sleek-lined exemplars of simplicity and delicacy.
Alliance is elegance personified, highlighted by a series of exquisite details and contrasting materials. The polished steel of the case plays against the iridescence of the mother of pearl dial and the softness of the brushed leather strap, which is particularly pleasant to the touch. The combination is discreet and refined, as are the colours choices: blue, gray and pink. The powdery pastel tones of the dials and straps create a harmonious monochromatic whole that is undeniably feminine.
Alliance remains faithful to the codes that have made the collection such a success for the last three years. The polished, pyramid-shaped indexes play with the light, as do the finely faceted central hands. At 3 and 9 o’clock, the indexes give way to two Arabic numerals. The date window appears at 6 o’clock. Finally, still on the dial, an iconic feature – the famous Swiss cross emblem at noon – completes the alluring design.
Inside, at the Alliance’s heart, beats the Swiss Made Ronda 705 quartz movement.
