With this new Automatic Open Dial version of its ARTCODE model, SAINT HONORE has drawn on generations of expertise to create a watch with harmonious lines and an assertive style. The ARTCODE “Automatic Open Dial” is all about transparency: the dial showcases a clever openwork design that reveals at its heart the workings of the automatic movement (ETA 2824) that has been specially customised by SAINT HONORE.
The geometric structure of the dial ensures its components are perfectly readable, and offers an impressive view of its many qualities: the dial’s silver surface with a circular guilloche decoration, the bold cut-outs of the black hour-markers, the variation in levels, and the spectacular finishes of the date aperture and hands.
The 42 mm case is an elegant combination of sharp angles, smooth curves, brushed and polished surfaces and meticulous attention to detail, with six screws visible on the bezel, and a specially designed crown in a truncated tapered shape with cut-out grooves.
Turning the watch over offers a fascinating view of the superb finishes on the movement – the diamanté Côtes de Genève decoration, the blackened gold finish of the oscillating weight – thanks to the screwed-in transparent case-back, through which the technical mastery and beauty of the watch’s “beating heart” can be admired.
Mounted on a particularly elegant black crocodile-effect leather strap, this timepiece is a tribute to the brand’s exceptional know-how and heritage.
