Egyptian Diver Ahmed Gabr Sets a New Diving Record

Montres Charmex SA has announced that the Egyptian diver AHMED GABR successfully set a new World Record now acknowledged by the Guinness Book of World Records Thursday September 18th 2014. Mr Gabr set a new benchmark diving to 332.4 meters in Dahab, Egypt.

After meticulous preparation Ahmed undertook the attempt to beat the existing world record wearing a 20’000 FEET by CX Swiss Military Watch™ mechanical diving timepiece supplied by Montres Charmex SA.

Ahmed was an officer with the Egyptian Military, having graduated from the Military Academy in 1994. He continued his career by joining the Special Forces, the Egyptian Rangers, and eventually earned a scholarship to the United States Army Combat Diver Course.
