Hublot has officially announced to establish strategic cooperation with Tang Polo Club and became the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch for the Club and “China Open Polo Tournament 2014”. Hublot has also introduced the Chukker Bang- Tang Polo Club limited edition watch to celebrate this partnership.
As Asia’s top level Polo tournament, China Open Polo has become a big sport event with international authority and influence. Since 2013, Hublot has become the event’s Official Timekeeper for two consecutive years and released its Tang Polo Club limited edition watch Chukker Bang this year, limited to 20 pieces.
This is the first time to install carbon case with ceramic bezel, so that this is light and comfortable. Meanwhile, the unique titanium metal guardrail is inspired by the polo-stick and polo ball, which can be removed on the Big Bang’s 44 mm diameter case, fit closely with the bezel to protect the sapphire crystal mirror.
The small second hand at 3 o’clock position is decorated with the logo of Tang Polo Club, and the words “Tang Polo” are engraved at the 5 o’clock position of the black ceramic bezel, in honour of the strategic cooperation between Tang Polo Club and Hublot. The watch is equipped with Polo fly back automatic chronograph movement, its unique because the running time of the seven minutes and 30 seconds timer echoes that of a round of polo match (Chukka), with the hand of the small timer running around within 30 seconds, this is the reason for the watch’s name–Chukker Bang–which is truly a tribute to this great sport event.
