Niall is an American luxury watch brand founded by Mike Wilson. The brand name Niall comes from Mike Wilson’s paternal lineage that traces back to Niall Noigiallach, legendary fourth century High King of Ireland. With this new watch brand, the founder pays tribute the legendary emperor. The mission of this watch brand is to revive the great tradition of American watch manufacturing.
Niall is headquartered in Kansas City at Crossroads Arts District, which is also home to business accelerator Ingenology, two-time winner of the NASA International Space Apps Challenge. Niall watch brand donates a portion of its profits to educating and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and inventors.
The brand’s debut model is NIALL ONE, an exceptional mechanical automatic timepiece crafted in America and powered with state of the art Swiss made movements. Crafted using Solid Stainless steel, the NIALL ONE collection now comprises of four model versions: Stainless steel, Stainless steel/Black, Stealth Black and finally the Two tone model. In Stealth Black and Two tone models both case and bezel are treated with black DLC.
Regarding dimensions of the timepiece, the case measures 41.4 mm and dial has 30 mm diameter. For the first time in industry, the NIALL ONE timepieces are fitted with Corning Gorilla Glass, which is highly durable and scratch resistant than sapphire and other conventional glasses. NIALL ONE is the first luxury watch in the world to incorporate the Corning Gorilla Glass, which is widely used in new generation and highly rugged HDTVs, smartphones and smart watches.
Its simple, clutter free dial boasts, hour index markers, Roman index markers for 12’o clock & 6’o clock, luminous hour and minute hands, plus a date indication at 3’o clock.
The NIALL ONE houses the 25 jewel ETA 2824 -2 Swiss made mechanical automatic movement. All NIALL ONE timepieces are tested for a water resistance up to 100 meters. The timepiece is fitted with a genuine leather strap featuring deployant clasp.
Assembled in Kansas City, the NIALL ONE comes with two year warranty. The NIALL ONE timepiece offers full customisation, as the timepiece will be manufactured only after receiving the orders.
Depending on the model, it usually takes 4 to 5 weeks for customisation and production of each model. Price range is US$ 3750 to 3950.
