Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon 30° Technique Bi-color Unique Edition 5N Red Gold or Platinum

Introduced in 2014 in a unique edition of 22 Pieces in 5N red gold and 22 Pieces in platinum, the Double Tourbillon 30° Technique Bi-color pushes the boundaries of three-dimensional watches even further by innovatively heightening the contrast between the different components of the movement and case.

The bridges and mainplate on this Double Tourbillon 30° Technique Bi-color are distinguished by a black chromium treatment, while those on the caseband have a black ADLC treatment on the engraved plates. These contrasts give a new dimension to this timepiece and serve to direct our attention to the inner workings.

This is a hand-wound movement. It comprises 385 components and features a 120- hour power reserve guaranteed by four fast-rotating coaxial mainspring barrels. The case measures 47.5 mm in diameter and features sapphire crystal on the front and back to highlight the mechanisms. Also note the frosted, flat black-polished finishes hand polished angles. Additionally, to emphasise the quintessence of the expertise encapsulated in this tourbillon, Greubel Forsey’s philosophy has been engraved on the black ADLC-treated plates which decorate the sides of the case.
