ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher is a professional sports and diving timepiece which has found many friends over the years. Now the Germany based watch brand announces the new ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher BRONZE series.
With this new range, the German watch brand is offering new Bronze case versions of the following models:
- ARCHIMEDE ‘60’: Classic divers watch with 60 minutes scale
- ARCHIMEDE’K’ : Compass watch with 360° scale for determining the cardinal directions
- ARCHIMEDE’GMT’: Dual time watch with 12 hours for 2nd time zone
The material of the ICKLER diver case is the same Bronze alloy CuSn8 (consisting of 92% copper and 8% tin) used for the Pilots watches. The case has engraved the ‘ICKLER 1924’ logo in between the lugs and “BRONZE” on the other side.
The surface is brushed without any further treatment (‘natural’) and will develop the characteristic bronze vintage patina over time. Both the crown and the buckle are also made of Bronze.
The diver case has a diameter of 40.5mm and is water resistant to 30 ATM. The solid screw down steel case back protects the reliable Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW 200. As an option a display back with sapphire crystal is available.
The antireflective coated sapphire crystal on top guarantees perfect readability of the luminous dials – day and night.
The price for the ARCHIMEDE SportTaucher BRONZE watch with leather strap is EUR 980 (including VAT), EUR 823.53 (without VAT).
The price for the SportTaucher BRONZE with Nato strap is EUR 950 (including VAT), EUR 798.32 (without VAT). More versions with Nato straps will follow soon.
